It appears that the zip for postie is bad. Is there another way to get the files?

I've tried to download the file several times and the only file that will extract is the ajax script.

so your postie mod does not query via SQL per Oliver's recommendation?
  • David M. Besonen · 2 years ago
does your postie mod also include Oliver's 'postieIMAP.php, line 70' bug fix?

I tried to download the postie mod, but I couldn't open the zip file. Can you check again? Thanks!

    Couple apparent bugs in postie_mod:
-"Default post by mail category" dropdown in "Message Settings" of "Postie Options" does not save when changed.
-when clicking on the Quick read me, all of the nav links change to have wp-content rather than wp-admin.

I also noticed that if an article has an apostrophe the backslash (\) (which I'm assuming is used to escape it) still appears in the article heading.

Also, if an article is forwarded and HTML is turned on the formatting of the page goes awry and for example, the article will block navigation elements.

    hi Benjamin,

thanks a ton for the postie mod.

btw, what compression tool did you use to create the 2007-10-17-postie-ajax-olivier.zip file? i was _unable_ to successfully decompress the file with both UnZip 5.52 (by Info-ZIP) and WinRAR 3.71.

i then tried 7-Zip 4.56 beta and was successful. you may want to re-compress your postie mod so that others don't think they they've downloaded a corrupt file (also, providing an MD5 value would be great too.)

    peace,
    david

Why on earth should i use/install 7-Zip if i have a legal registered and paid version of WinZIP!

Can you please explain why not fixing the ZIP for ANY user who wants the postie plugin with corrections?

    Can you please answer that?
